Yes it does. When you are full, it puts more strain on the heart being that you are in the middle of digestion. Everything is "speed-ed up" during digestion. So your heart has to pump faster and circulate more blood in your body faster than if you had nothing in your stomach. I am a nurse, and I never check blood pressures after they have eaten because of the possibility of getting an inaccurate reading. The best time to check your blood pressure is when you first wake up in the morning and before you go to bed. I hope this helps.
