Exactly what I've been saying to myself all this time. Why the heck do people care so much about celebrities when they know damn well celebs couldn't care less about them or their problems. If celebs cared, would there still be poor people in the United States? If celebs cared, wouldn't the world be better than it is today? No, celebs care only for their own well being and only care about us when they want us to buy their product or fork over money for charity reasons (they should give way more instead of asking us to give what we have and then complain that we don't give enough). It's surprising how people see them as important when they don't do anything "inspiring" that makes a person want to better themselves for the future. A lot of people who worship them and call them their idol only say and do that because they wish they had the life celebrities have: money, fame, etc. Someone who inspires you shouldn't be just materialistic. Life is not all about money or who wears the best clothes. If you want someone to look up to, turn off the freakin television, put down the celeb magazine, and look to someone in your community or better yet, someone who is not always in the paper who does things because they have a heart, not because they want to be noticed by the public.

some of them do dumb things (brittany spears; paris hilton) and i feel better about myself because of it.

others i just admire (toni collette; audrey hepburn) because they are/were good at their craft.
