Okay, what's the worse excuse you've come up with for not going into work?
or what have you used that was not true?

Had a guy call up work once saying that he couldnt hear treble. He worked on a helpdesk and claimed he was unable to hear treble and so wouldnt be able to answer the phone...Not sure if he realised that he'd just called up or not...but that was his excuse and he came in with a doctors certificate so it had to be accepted...

I actually had a girl show up a half a shift late (night shitf) because she was at a party and she thinks she was sexually assaulted by some guys, but she wan't sure..anyway..she took a bath and came into work....she was told to go home...and she would not be needed ever again.

I just did not wish to go one morning so I called off stating that I had a cold. Only have done this once though many many years ago.

in specific circumstances i take advantage of my 4 year previous as an excuse to get out of issues. dissimilar the time its actual because of fact i don't have a sitter, yet on the grounds that persons are understanding of that actuality..i'm going to apply it in specific circumstances as quickly as I in simple terms don't sense like going out. i think of its rather lame because of fact...nicely..i'm making use of my newborn because of fact the excuse! =)

The worst excuse one of my employees ever told me was that he was locked in his apartment and the landlord/maintenance people couldn't get there until late in the afternoon.
