Guys, do you thinks girls look okay in plaid shorts?

I want to buy pink plaid bermuda shorts. (I realize that they are kind of preppy) Do you think that this looks okay or not? I was kind of concerned because normally guys wear these types of shorts, but I've seen them in a lot of women's departments lately.

not a guy, but ..
If you are slim? shouuld look ok
If not? big bottoms dont look good in plaids

I'm not a guy, but that sounds like it would look extra cute!! It's for girls too!!
