Anarchism played no part in causing the first World War. In fact, when the war broke out, anarchists all over the world organized to stop it. In America, anarchists such as Emma Goldman and Alexander Berkman traveled the country making speeches about the evils of war and encouraging young men to dodge the draft. Goldman was arrested several times under the auspices of the Sedition Act of 1918 which was passed to quash dissent to the war.

The Assassination in Sarajevo on 28 June 1914 ultimately led to World War I. The assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria at Sarajevo in Austria-Hungary by Gavrilo Princip, a Bosnian nationalist, Austrian subject and member of Young Bosnia, led Austria-Hungary to declare war on Serbia.

I wouldn't call Gavrilo Princip, who was a member of a group called the Black Hand, an Anarchist but alot of people say he was one.
