What is the best electric shaver??

Question

I am going to buy my boyfriend an electric shaver for his birthday, but I'm not sure what model/brand to get.

He loves to have the best & latest models, so no offence to anyone but I'm not looking for a recommendation of the trusty old shaver you've been using for years (unless it's the new model of the one you have)! I do of course want the one I buy him to last for many more years, but it has to be a new model! Oh and he is adamant about it having a self-cleaning charger (he loves his gadgets).

Anybody have any recommendations?
