well, I found out when my husband was asleep, by taking a pg. test. That was in 2002, a year and a half after we began trying. We lost that baby 5 weeks into the pregnancy. Since i have had numerous false positives, but no baby. My sister has had 2 babies and my other sister has had one. My sister in law has had 2, one wasn't even her husbands. I have had several friends and people my mother in law insisted on informing me about have numerous babies. Me, none.
How can curiosity peak your interest? Are you inable to concieve yourself? there are several websites to help deal with the damnation you feel and the world lays at your feet because you are alone, different, not whole or incomplete. This is how I describe myself. As far as in Gods time.. Well, I used to believe that. 6 years and numerous of babies later, I think God failed me and to allow a slut to have a child, well that is unfair.
Well are'nt u just the lucky one!!! nic?

For me it only took 8 months without trying to have a baby. I was asleep in my apartment when I got up and rushed to the bathroom to vomit. I just brushed it off as the flu because the flu was going around at my work. But when it continued for the next 2 weeks I bought a pregnancy test and sure enough, it was positive. We weren't trying to conceive, but here I am now 7 weeks pregnant. I'm so excited! I called all my friends and my 4 brothers and my sister to tell them literally 5 minutes after I found out! I had all the symptoms too. Headaches, fatigue, morning sickness, some stomach pains, and my boobs hurt.

I think it is so different for everyone. For us with our first daughter we got pregnant the first try after 7 years of using rhythm or "pull and pray" if you will. I became very tired and really really irritable, combative almost like the way I felt when I tried the birth control pill years before. So as soon as my period was one day late I knew that I was pregnant because on top of some of those familiar irritable feelings I had some sensations that were so new to me (kind of like being crowded tho I did want this pregnancy).
We got pregnant 15 months after the birth of our first daughter(and right after she was weened from breasting) because rhythm no longer worked for us (my husband got a vasectomy after our second because we only wanted 2) I knew 2 weeks into the pregnancy that I was pregnant again.
Its different for everyone and I think that what I know about those who do have to work harder is that you have to just relax and not try too hard, because it causes some kind of physiological block to conception. Just enjoy each other and it will happen and good luck!
peace

With my first child, I was young and didn't want to admit my period was late. I just knew. I finally confirmed it when I was four months.
With my son..well we weren't trying, I was actually on birth control pills. I moved out of town and couldn't get a refill. By the end of the month I was pregnant. (Don't get me wrong, I love him so much. He was just unplanned)
Good luck to you.
(my cuz made an appointment with an infertility doc and the day before she went she had to get a routine gyno check up for the referral, the gyno said she was pregnant! She never even had to go to the fertility appointment) God really does answer prayers!

We were trying to get pregnant. She went off the pill for a month, then we started trying. About three weeks later she was waking up every morning with an upset stomach and asked if she had a stomach flu. I laughed at her and said, "Silly, you're pregnant!" We took a test, and sure enough, it was positive.
