America ( north & south) ,Europe,Asia,Africa,Australia ?....im asking this cause' here in EE. UU people say there are 7.......i learnt in school that there are just five continents.by the way im southerican.

By most standards, there are a maximum of seven continents - Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australia/Oceania, Europe, North America, and South America. Many geographers and scientists now refer to six continents, where Europe and Asia are combined (because they're one solid landmass).
These six continents are then Africa, Antarctica, Australia/Oceania, Eurasia, North America, and South America.

I am going to place the seven continents in alphabetical order-

-Africa
-Antartcica
-Asia
-Europe
-North America
-Oceania
-South America

hey to my knowledge there are only 7 continents and you have not included Antarctica and Arctic.
