There is absolutely no comparison. The old and classic WWF is about 10X more entertaining than the new fake WWE. Just look at the superstars from the WWF, The Rock, Stone Cold, Hogan... How can John Cena and Batista compared to those superstar. I mean, argueable the most entertaining people from the new WWE, DX, are left overs from the old WWF. The new people can't burn people on the mic like the Rock can. No twist in the plot like having NWO or the Alliance. People dont turn from face to heel anymore. The whole show lacks attraction. No more rivaries like Stone Cold and the Rock, hell, vince mcmahon dont even get his *** kicked anymore. What is good about a show that lacks all that??? When one of your superstars is Umaga, you know the show must totally suck.

The OLD WWF WAS NOT REAL.. It was scripted just like it is today, the difference was that the wrestlers wouldn't admit it and everyone tried to claim it was real. Professional wrestling has always been scripted entertainment.
Is today's WWE better? No, I don't think it is. The storylines used to be good and some feuds lasted years, not 5 weeks until the next PPV. Remember how long the 4 horseman ruled. The focus was on great matches along with good storylines. Today the focus is just on cheesy, childish antics like what DX provides. Most storylines are repeats and it has become quite predictable.

Where are all of the WWE homers who like Cena and the Hardy's at? Sure, the Hardy's served a good and decent time in the attitude era. You had so much in the Attitude era, imo The Rock paying Stone Cold back for throwing his IC belt over the bride in the water by throwing him over the bridge and into the water a year and a half later!
Too many good times in the Attitude Era. The Nation Of Domination isn't even recognized these days, and that is pretty sad. Mark Henry wouldn't have still been in the WWE if it wasn't for the Attitude Era giving him the chance.

I also prefer the old, classic WWF, but it's not only the WWE that has changed, but the fans have changed also. Most of the fans who know nothing about the old, classic WWF are into the new and fake WWE. And there are more of the new fans than old, so they have to play to the larger audience.

WWF for 2 reasons: first being that the more action is better...like TNA. Second, the WWF name is so much better than WWE. The name WWE just doesn't sound right. WWF sounded tougher.

Sometimes I say the same the same thing about that. I kind of miss the old WWF logo. I missed wrestlers like The Rock, Stone Cold, Chyna, Mick Foley, etc. I watched wrestling every week. I like the wrestler in WWE like John Cena, Carlito, Rey Mysterio, etc. Well I like both of them, it really don't matter to me. That's my opinion.

reliable suits yet i don't think of there is such issue as classic TNA superstars because TNA began in 2002, suitable around the time WWF grew to develop into into the WWE. And quite of Lita in tht outfits tournament, how bout Ashley she superhot! Lita is warm yet Ashley is hotter, and so is Mickie yet identity quite have eye sweet than someone who can particularly attempt hostile to in that type of tournament, so identity placed Maryse or Brooke.

WWF = awesomeness. The attitude era was the best the WWE ever had, breakthroughs in tag team wrestling, women's wrestling... the title hunt was interesting, the Hardcore championship was still around... WWE is just... bleh. >:(

I liked the old WWF. Today's shows have the hotties but the old shows had wrestling. I especially loved steel cage matches and vallets. I always wanted to be Ric Flair's vallet. hahaha

how can you not love the classic wwe, i mean hogan-andre, hogan-macho,hogan-warrior, the birth of legends like hogan, shawn michaels, bret hart, macho, undertaker, also then stone cold, the rock, hhh and some of the craziest storylines ever, wrestling these days has just simply changed with the times that we live in. i love the old school though.
