I believe it is true that the Earth is warming. But I also believe it is cyclical in nature, that this happens every so often and that there is nothing we can do to affect it either way.
Did you know that Mars is also warming? It's called the sun!!!!

Before global warming it was Acid rain in the late 1970's , before that there was this wack job from Zero Population growth who said that the world was going to have mass famine in the 1970+1980.
Oh and I seem to remember the horror that the world was going to run out of oil in 10 years ( that was in 1979)
Al Gore is now the boy who cried wolf or more aptly the boy who cried global warming

If there's no such thing then what caused the glaciers to melt, is it just my mistake and I'm actually living under an ice sheet 1500 metres thick?
If there's no such thing then why is the world warming up, is it that Al Gore has recalibrated every thermomenter in the world and rewritten hundreds of years worth of records?
If there's no such thing then why are plants and animals being forced to extinction because their habitats have changed, is it that they never existed and people only ever imagined them?
If there's no such thing then why have millions of people in Africa and Asia being forced to move due to desertification, is it that the politicians turn up every night with their bucket and spade and move the deserts?
If there's no such thing then why has a million square kilometres of Siberian permafrost melted, is it that it was never frozen in the first place and people just imagined it was?
If there's no such thing then why does satellite imaging show that glaciers and ice caps are retreating, are Martians intercepting the satellite transmissions and feeding us erronous data?
If there's no such thing then why is there less and less snow each year in the ski resorts that I go to, is it just that I'm imagining that as well?
If there's no such theing then why have 99.9% of scientists not signed the petition disputing global warming, is it simply because none of them can sign their name?
If there's no such thing then why have Pacific islands been submerged and their inhabitants forced to flee, is it that the people there always lived underwater but just never realised it?
The list could go on and on but the bottom line is that people who choose to dispute global warming do so in the face of overwhelming evidence. They dismiss out of hand anything that doesn't conform to their way of thinking and opt instead to believe anything that supports their beleif without so much as questioning the reliability of the 'evidence'.

Nice scientific point on this matter.
While I'm not going to argue the science of this, you have to acknowledge certain realities.
In relation to this topic, our behavior as human beings has greatly changed over the past 100 years since the industrial revolution versus our entire existance prior to it.
You have to acknowledge that the burning of fossil fuels into the atmosphere is a historically very new phenomenon that is bound to have some affect on the earth's ecological system.

Theres a good chance that your wrong! People need to worry more about whats happening around them. Studies show that global warming is happening, and is going to get worse! You need to start caring about this topic, because this is serious!! I know that it is hard to believe, at first I thought that all of that talk was a bunch of crap-but now I'm starting to get concerned. Heres a heads up-start getting un-tired of hearing about global warming because a lot of people are going to talk about it!
