I have the purple animal dyson but I am looking into the handheld looking dyson, kinda like the dustbuster. We could not find one out of the box; so does anyone have one or seen one out of the box? Is it heavy or is it light? Is it worth buying or should I just stick with the one I have?

I work at Linen N Things in Canada. Sometimes our stores carry different things than the US. I'm guessing you have the DC14 Animal? Just one lower then the DC15 ( the ball vac?) Depending on what you mostly vacuum (rooms, large areas), it's hard to say. It's semi-light but the suction hose is very long.

The handheld is great for small jobs.
