if there is a inference to drugs in the wizard of oz who first suggested this and where would i find it?

The only inference to drugs that I can think of are the "poppies" (which of course produce opiates) and are used by the Wicked Witch to cause Dorothy to be placed in a deep slumber. Perhaps the "snow" that the Good Witch Glenda causes to fall on the poppies to awaken Dorothy could be construed as a stimulant such as cocaine.

don't know about that one, but if you look in the background of one of the spooky forest scenes, there is a shadow of a man running through the trees. It was rumored he hanged himself right on the set. If there were any drugs, I would be willing to bet they were somewhere within Emerald City.

There is a scene where they all fall asleep in a poppy seed field. This seen is often edited out in the version they show on TV.
