go out 471 until you get to the lake road going out to Medina Lake It comes to an end of sorts either you go toward the dam or back Along the lake but stop right there and get out You are really high above the lake and it looks just beautiful, as an added bonus in a week or two the spring flowers will be out so be sure to take a camera with you

Try the restaurant at the top of the Tower of the Americas. (A new Landry's just opened there not long ago. I haven't been there yet; my experience is with the former restaurant.) Anyway, the restaurant revolves so that you'll eventually see all of San Antonio. Get there in the late afternoon & you can see San Antonio by day. Then, linger over your dinner so that you can watch the sun set, then see the beautiful lights of San Antonio at night, too!

Try Government Park on the northwest side of San Antonio, but also McAllister Park on the Northeast and even the Botanical Gardens or Mahnke Park near Downtown. Parks are wonderful places to watch our beautiful sky country sunsets.

Don't go to comanche it is not very romantic, trust me. There is a Native American look out at the top and it is riddled with graffiti and trash. Go to the borders at The Quarry market. ON the second floor there is a HUGE window by the CD racks, the sun sets just over the highway but it is the perfect view.

Comanche Hill Park on the NE side is a very high area. There are hiking trails up to the top of the hill.
It's at the intersection of Judson and Nacogdoches

Get up someplace high and look West. In Austin, it is drinking a margarita in Hill Country overlooking Travis lake from the Eastern shore..
