It's not a big deal how long you wait. The problem is when you used multiple products at one time. I used pro-activ and I recently switched and I had no reactions. Just make sure you don't use pro-activ and your new product during the same time and you'll be fine.

You can start using the new product at any time. In fact you can go back and forth using both products. Proactive is a retail product. Its not very harsh,I'm familiar with it. I'm assuming the other product is also a retail product and not a prescription product? If so, both can be used simultaneously. Source: Dermatologist

If there is a phone number on the box or a website go there and check to see if it says anything about waiting.. Best to call if you can. If you can't find anything at all wait 2 weeks that should be a good safe amount of time.

Omg so Pro-active didn't work for you?
I heard once you start you can't stop, at least not if you've been using it for a lengthened time period

I'd wait depending on how bad it is. If your whole face is covered wait about 3-4 days. If it's not too bad I'd say a day or so.
