If you feel an inclination to be a veterinarian,i think you certainly should pursue studies in this discipline & make a career of it ,it will need many years of study & hard work & the same continues after you graduate.Gardening can always be a very rewarding hobby that can be pursued along with studies & professional work ,gardeners come in all shapes & sizes,in all professions & span the globe, Welcome to the tribe.

Veterinarian school is very competitive and many are not accepted. Some drop out and yes go to medical school. Gardeners are great, but make no money. Always have a plan B. May you succeed in all you do but know sometimes we change our dreams.

You can always be a gardener. But it will take a lot off schooling to become a vet. I say do both :-)

Good luck.
