I wonder if you mean Ganja... if so, according to Wikipedia:

"Ganja, a Hindi term for Cannabis (drug). The term was introduced to Jamaica by Indian immigrants, and is now often associated with the Rastafari movement of Jamaica."

Ganja is a much more potent form of cannibis/marijuana made from female leaves. Theres three main grades of cannibis: bhang, ganja, and charras. Charras is the most potent, and bhang is the least potent (mostly found in the U.S).
