My favorite author is John Grisham. But I've read all his books. I have a week of vacation and I'd like to read something as good as his books. Any suggestions?

YES - read The Messenger by Daniel Silva. In fact, start from the beginning and read the whole Gabriel Allon series starting with The Kill Artist. He is brilliant

If you go and buy a book called Ham On Rye, by Charles Bukowski, it will be the best thing you ever did for your reading life and will open up a whole new world of thinking. Trust me.

Try James Patterson. My Dad LOVES his books. And Stephen King.
I personally really like Dean Koontz when I want to have the shite scared out of me. And Jane Austen. :P

I always suggest Orson Scott Cards "Ender's Game"
It is a tremendous story, and it has a message at the end of the story.
I also suggest Asimov's Foundation Series. (Probably his best work)
