all my shirts always get stretched out whenever i wash them. i hate it. any ideas?

maybe the problem is not in the washing but the drying. Wet clothes tend to sag because of the weight of water. So wring out as mush water as you can, shake it out rigourously to get rid of surface creases, and hang on hangers on a drying rack, or double them up and fasten with clothes pegs.

Wash them in a more gentle cycle and don't HANG them to dry.

put them in the dryer...they'll shrink back to normal
