I would borrow a car. The tester has the discretion to disallow your car based on a malfunction in a basic safety compenent. Best to play it safe - drive a rented car if you have to!

Put a piece of black electrical tape over the light. They probably won't notice. If you take the test on dry pavement, it probably won't make any difference anyway.
Disclaimer: always take care of ABS problems immediately. It could save your butt.

Try disconnecting battery before test to reset computer.
That should keep ABS light off long enough to take test.
