it's in the 'mem usage' column of task manager in the 'processes' tab - or can be determined from the total/available stats in the 'physical memory' section of the 'performance' tab.

There is a free program called " Free RAM PRO" that sits in the tray and tells you how much free RAM you have, and thus by inference you can work out how much is in use. It can be set to report on C.P.U. usage and a couple of other things too.
