why do men bleed from the anus?

A friend of mine has been bleeding from his rectum when he drinks or eat anything that has a lot of salt? What can it be?

Mr. Rights's right. It's not normal and could be a sign of bleeding because of fissures, tumors non-cancerous or cancerous . Drag your friend to a Gastoroenterologist ( MD. of intestines) ASAP!

That has never happened to me or any of my relatives or friends so he needs to see the doctor right away

i have no idea what it is but he needs to go see a doctor immediatly
