i don't know if this works but you can try using windows media player and click the burn to cd or device

Windows Media Player doesn't work for the IPOD. Have you tried re-installing ITUNES and going from there? I think that might be the only program that lets you download to your player. Although, if you use Ruckus from Ruckus.com, I think you can pay money to download songs to your IPOD. Good luck!

What's wrong with iTunes?? Anyway the only other thing you could do is buy an iRiver and use the iRiver Music Manager to get songs onto the mp3. But that would make no sense. Just deal with it, it can't be that bad.

Put all the songs in mp3 format and drag and drop it to the ipod(you can only use this to get music off limewire).

i think you can only use itunes for your ipod. sometimes itunes does that when it is not the lastest version of itunes so go to apple.com and download the latest one if that doesnt work you can call 1-800-myapple i have called them before and were very helpful. dont bother the website help totally waste of time just call :)
