I like both names, unusual names are becoming more acceptable these days .I have 5 children and they all have "normal" names except my daughter autumn whose 8.If it had just been my decision all the kids would have had a unusual name but my husband is more conservative.Autumn has never had any teasing over her name and everyone comments on how nice it is,after all at least she will stand out in a class full of Chloe's and jacks!

They both seem like nice names at the moment, but just think about your child. Will they appreciate having such an unusual name when they get teased at school?

I remember when I was at school and there were two girls called China-Blue and Swan. Nobody could take them seriously, and they were teased a lot.

You might want to think about other alternatives that are maybe a little less unusual. I like things like Amelie, Bridget, Cecilia, Breanna, Adele and Scarlett.

If you really like the names you have chosen, don't let anybody put you off. And when the baby is born, she might not suit the names you like! Good luck in choosing.

Indigo is nice, Nirvana, strange but it would grow on me I think.

I recently though I might be pregnant and my husband agreed to call the baby, if it happened, Jovie for a girl or Jovi for a boy.

My others are

Amber Leigh
Jessica Lauren
Bethany Jade

a friends daughter is called Denim

Well they both are different, but if I had to choose I would pick Nirvana. You should choose the one you like best though. Asking too many opinions will only end up in you getting burned. People can be cruel you know. Good luck! :)

EH,.... no no NO!!! I think a baby name is a parents own choice and they should pick something a little unusual if they want but remember your baby is going to have to carry this name for life, ie: introduce herself to people, write it on tax forms! Can you imagine the doctors waiting room and the nurse calling "Nirvana, Nirvana"????

indigo is good, original and unique but nirvana will obviously always be associated with nirvana. But then it does depend on the sir name.

I dont think Nirvana is a particularly girly name so i would think twice about that one but Indigo is quite pretty but think wisely before you name your little one.

I like the names Tia, Tarin and Lacey

Well, Nirvana means paradise, so i like that one. Indigo is okay, they are both a bit far out though.

However, it is your wee girl and your choice. When you see her face for the first time, maybe you will just 'know' which one is right for her.

XXX.
