a pinstripe pantsuit is always chic--keep the jewelery simple. The pinstripe is business like, and the pants dress it down to a more comfortable and casual look. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes. If your feet hurt, your face will show it. If you choose to leave the jacket open, a dressy tee is appropriate for busness/casual. If you choose a dress or skirt, make sure it is a conservative length and will not billow too much in a breeze. How you wear it is just as important as what you wear. Simple neat hairdo, simple makeup. No wrinkles. If you wear a button down blouse, make sure it does not gap. Do not wear anything revealing, it is not appropriate for business, no matter how casual. Neither are flip-flops. If you carry a handbag or pocketbook, keep it subdued and not too large or bulky--take only what you really need. And of course, you already know you need to behave like a lady. With all tha said, mom is finished lecturing--have a good trip and bring back good memories!!

Is it formal?
If so, you might want to don a simple A-lined skirt in navy blue or midnight blue with a matching blazer jacket.
You can wear a lighter coloured camisole underneath (i.e. sheer pink, creamy white, cool blue) and to add a personal touch, wear one with moderately decorated embroidery. It'd be nice if you have a matching jacket and skirt with a subtle striped pattern.
Oh and red or marooned coloured high heels. XD

since its close to spring I would go with a pastel, buttoned down shirt( long sleeve), black slacks and a pair of flats or wedge sandals. Don't overdue the jewelry, I would leave the hair down if it's long.
