There has to be more behind this one. What did your "best friend" do to make you wonder about him/her. You know someone is truly your best friend when your going through your worst times and they stick by your side the whole time. I have had several people run when I hit rock bottom and there was a very small number that stood around and helped me out when I needed it.

It's easy to be a friend when the times are good. But, when life gets stormy, is your friend still there? Does your friend support you and care about you in bad times? Or,does this person suddenly disappear,dismissing your problems and acting like they don't really care? Bad times will help you know who is really your friend. Run like hell from someone who shows their real character - no second chances.

You best friends are there with you through the good and bad times. They lend you an ear and tell you the truth even when you do not want to hear it. In a tactful way.

Well your friend will take you for who you are and not a fake person. they will give you good advise and not treat you diffrently around other people. They treat you like a sister and they don't tell your secrets to other people with out coming to you first.

A FRIEND IS A PERSON THAT WILL BE THERE FOR YOU IF YOU NEED HELP AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO SAY WHY THEY ARE THERE THROUGH THICK AND THIN GOOD TIMES AND BAD TIMES

there is many ways you can tell. if they are always there for you. they dont betray you in any way. they also dont take advantange of you an anyway. if they care about you they are your bestfriend. if they confor u they are your bestfriend.
