Put yourself out there. Go to as many auditions as possible. Do commercials, shorts, theater, improv. you name it. Fail horribly, then rework your method and do it all over again. It won't happen over night. Some famous actor, I think it was Mark Ruffalo, said he went through 9000 auditions before he got his first leading role. It takes years. Be patient.
I'm a firm believer that anyone can act, it just take perseverance. You'll fail many times before you get a break.

Keep studying your craft. Audition and perform all the time. Keep studying all aspects of the craft--drama, comedy, music, dance, improv, commercial, on camera.
That way you'll be a good actress. A famous one? You'll need patience...and luck. Especially if you're going for film work; only 5% of the entire Screen Actors Guild is ever working at one time.
Add: Contrary to the above poster, you *don't* need an agent right away. They wouldn't take you without some experience anyway.

first you need an agent "N.T.A"
National talent agency. then go to every audition u can. Then keep working up at first take anything they through at you.
after your name gets around (after a few years of credits to your name) then you will get more noticed.
the main thing is stay out there and keep working take every role serious.

get into your dramma class be in as many locle plays as you can get into anything that you can to get u noticed. go to hollywood and cheak the newspaper there, its kinda a matter of working yourself to getting famous!!!
