Seriously - it is SO uncomfortable. All of my bras are. The second I get home from work, I rip it off. My kids are young now so it doesn't matter, but soon I'll have to be looking presentable.

Are there ANY comfortable bras out there?
(Don't say a sports bra - they suck too.)

I have gotten sized once at Victoria's Secret. Also, a long time ago in another lingerie store. They had to call the manager over. :-( poor me.........

You need to get sized often. After we have kids things change -- when we get older things change --when we have our period things change-- when we have weight fluctiations things change..... you get my point.

A good bra fits and you don't know it is there -- get sized at a store that sells proper bras -- no offense to VS but they are more into how the bra looks than how it feels or functions....

All manufacturers have different size methods -- and even the same brand will fit differently with different styles. Don't get hung up on numbers -- get one that fits -- who cares what size it is.

Take a day and try on as many bras as you can -- a good rule of thumb is that it should close on the middle hook -- and when you lift your arms the bra needs to stay put -- not ride up.

The straps need to be thick enough to give support, but the real area that supports the bra is the back -- make sure it is wide enough to do the job. It should be under your shoulder blades low on the back not riding up.
Your straps should stay on your shoulders -- not fall off or leave dents.
Cups should fit well and nothing should hang over or bulge -- you also shouldn't have any puckering. If you are buying underwire, the middle needs to be against your chest wall -- if it doesn't touch the cups are too small.........

Bras need to be hand washed and replaced often -- 6 months is the very most a bra will last if it is worn regularly........

You deserve to be comfortable -- make sure you don't settle for anything less

Why dont you try the new Victoria's Secret IPEX bra? My husband recently got me two for Christmas after our dryer ate two of my other Victoria's Secret bra's and let me tell you girl they are AMAZING! They are expensive, the bras cost $42.00 each but the cost is worth it. These bras actually don't have any kind of under wire. When you put them on it feels like you are literally not wearing anything at all. Try getting professionally fitted at the store for your proper bra size which might also be the problem.

Are you sure you are wearing the correct size? Try going to a department store, or someplace like Victoria's Secret, and have them measure you and fit you for a bra.

A non-underwire bra. They are not as supportive, but comfy like a sports bra. You can get them at any department store. I also suggest getting re-measured. Your bust size changes with weight gain/loss.
