hey all, was wondering what type of pantyhose is it, where the panty portion is, where its thin?..all the pantyhose i've been buying recently is very tight on the panty portion, it hurts my crotch region. Hopefully someone understands the question i am trying to ask, thanks in advance!

You want sheer -to -waist pantyhose in a very light denier, 6,7 8 or 10 denier. they have several styles at stockingstore.com

The other option, which I'm surprised no one has already mentioned, is to purchase some that are designed for men. There are now a few companies that do so, the most notable here in the U.S. (assuming you're in the US) being Comfilon. Other manufacturers include Levee, with their WoMan line; Lexwear, Gerbe, as well as a couple others (which I can't remember right now).
If available where you are, I strongly recommend the Comfilon brand (www.comfilon.com). They have a fairly wide variety of styles to choose from (check out the 569s, 577s, 549s, and 869s first).

Sounds like sheer to waist, with some reinforcement around the panty region. I myself, prefer to wear control tops.

Are you buying "control top?" Sometimes those are kind of tight and restrictive...I wear them a lot because I like wearing skirts and, sometimes because of my body type it's difficult to find anything that fits right.

Are you buying the right size and style? Sounds like you are buying support hose. They can be a bit uncomfortable if you are not used to them.
