As long as it's not true, it won't annoy me! In a way, it makes me feel popular because people are talking about me. It makes me feel like a SOMEBODY instead of a NOBODY. And since the rumors are UNTRUE, it can't affect me but people are gonna start watching me thus making me "sort-of" popular!

People have always rumored, are rumoring and they always will. Either they do it cause they envy you, which is in most of the cases I know, either they do it because they're sick and they have a problem. Personally, I don't give a damn about what they say, and I think that no-one should. I know who I am, and I know what I do, and that's enough for me to be happy! I also invite all those who know they have this problem to get a life! After all, life is to short to rumor about someone else. I think everyone shoul mind their own business.

In school I was a shy quiet girl. And becuase I was an easy target, I was singled out to be "the lesbian". Rumors went on about me from 4th grade til my junior year. They'd drive past my house screaming things, notes left on my locker. People talking abotu me aloud when I'm walking right infront of them. it hurt. It did alot of damage to my self esteem. I thought of suicide numerous. Nothing my parents did made it go away. Senior year it was like everyone grew up over night. I was invited to parties, they acted like they had been friends with me for years. To this day I won't ever go to a class reunion. I still have alot of animosity towards my old class mates.

I hate it. When I was in Freshman year of high school, this guy who had a crush on me started a rumor that we had gone on dates, made out on the bus, and had sex. He did this while I was sick and out of school.
For the rest of the year, I had to tell people everyday that none of it was true. After that, people still asked me from time to time, and it was so annoying.

Yes, they can be both annoying and at times hurtful. But to be honest, the world is always going to be full of cliques who are still stuck in their high school days. Just remember that the people who talk about you are just nobodies.

People that spread rumors about other people are denying their own issues with themselves so they spread rumors about other people to make themselves feel better. I don't get annoyed by that, it just pisses me off--I'll ***** about it for awhile and then I'll be over it.

I never worry about what people say about me; I always remember what my old mum use to say. “It might have taken them a long time, but at last they have found someone decent to talk about”
I remember that and just laugh of what ever they say, but still I remember another saying of my mum “If you have nothing good to say, say nothing” and there are a few people I have nothing to say about.
Bad grammar, but you know what I mean; all the best “Daddy Dave”

Not only annoyed, it really pisses me off sometimes, but then I realize they are actually paying me attention and probably want me to act pissed off, so I just let hit roll off my back and laugh about it.
