I just started a new pack of birth control pills and when I popped the first one out, it fell on the table I was sitting at. It looked ok and I took it. Would dropping it affect the pill or it would it take a lot more to have affected it?

No way. JUST TAKE THE PILL AT THE SAME TIME EVERY DAY AND POP THE PILL OUT SOMEWHERE SAFE INCASE IT HAPPENS AGAIN:-) ( i just started taking apri and have tons of questions) but most of them youll want to ask your doctor because everyone is different.

It wont affect as long as the pill did not get moisturized or lost a part of it. Normally birth control pills have a hard cover that prevents to break until it gets to your stomach after ingesting it.

I dont think by dropping a pill would affect the pill at all, maybe if you dropped it in water or some kind of liquid it would.

No that will not have any side effect on you taking the pill. I have dropped a pill or two in my time and everything was fine.

Dropping it won't affect it. Getting it wet probably would though.

Are you serious!?

It would have to get wet or dissolve in order for it to change anything.
