Punk is when you are a rebel and the law and don't like the society and listen to the Ramones and the misfits and also wear leather pants and leather vasts and boots. and also very important the mohawk.

Emo is the one that wears and is fluent with the "do-dads" but always is a little fat or not fine-boned. Or usually, just not quite "cool enough" but has all the best intentions to make some reasty music.
Punk is the one that knows better and knows it all but don't now how to say it. Punk finds any interaction with people in the most unlikley places so punk just dosen't add up but still throws some reasty music.

(true punk has been forgotten)
emo is like the people who cut themselves because they cant deal with there emotions emo emotions get it
they also have the weird hair fringe thing over one eye sometimes
they right poetry and stuff like that
punk is when u just dont give a crap about majority
u just dress how you want
do what you wanna do
there big on anarchy
etc
example of emo is gerard way(the singer for my chemical romance)
example of punk is Johnny Rotten and Sid Vicious(Singer/Guitarist of the sex pistols)

If sum1 wanna rock till the neighbors call the cops or love music the nthey're punk
