A lot of people use the term, but generally don't use it to refer to homosexuals. It's a term that people say too much without actually thinking about what it means. I'll be honest, I use the word and never think about it as a derogatory term for homosexuals. Hopefully one day, I'll stop and realize that what I am saying is offensive to some people, even if I don't mean for it to be.

Now if you look in dictionary.com there are more then one but people can be offensive and rude but I don't like that word used around me just like I don't take well to the word GD ( god's name in vain) I think it's rude and disrespectful

That word is used to describe anyone who was wimpy or easily intimidated or weak or not masculine or tended to chicken out. It does not necessarily refer to homosexuals.
