i don't think phoenix can beat dallas. phoenix has no low post, and the phoenix only plays full court. dallas can play full and half court. the suns will give dallas a good run, but in the end, dallas will win. look what happened when the suns played the spurs in '05. the spurs murdered the suns. the only team that has a chance at beating dallas is the spurs. whoever wins this match up in the playoffs, should win the championship. this will be a great series.

of course they have a chance. once the playoffs start, everyone has a chance. the real question is... what kind of chance do they have? they actually have a very good chance. however, even with phoenix ballin out of control this year, dallas is still playing better. they have the core of the team that beat phoenix last year.phoenix has Amare back, and yet they can't get their interior defense down. i don't care how fast you run, or how many points you can score. if you can not ultimately stop the other team (DEFENSE), you will not win a title. if you look back on the history of the game, no team has EVER won a championship on strictly offense. my advice...if you know someone in the suns organization, holla at them now!

Personally I think the Suns are the more talented team of the two.
But that Dallas runs a better scheme, and has almost as good a squad.
Any team has a chance, its all about match ups really.
I think nearly every western conference playoff team has a chance to beat the Suns or Mavericks. So Id have to say the Suns have a very good shot at knocking off Dallas.
Id look for the Amare vs Diop/Dampier matchup and the Dirk vs Diaw matchup. Those are the two spots where each team has an advantage.

In the postseason Dallas will win the series they have against Phoenix (which they will) if and only if they have home court advantage and win every game at home. Dallas seems to choke every year in the playoffs when at an away court, so one loss at home could be enough to eliminate them from the finals. So, yes, Phoenix does have a chance.

those 3 communities are all contenders. San Antonio has had extra advantageous seasons than this year and could have a extra stable playoff because of this. In the two series they does not have abode court docket as the two Phoenix and Dallas have extra advantageous information. extra away video games potential extra possibilities to lose because of fact maximum communities are extra advantageous at abode than away. As a Dallas fan i think of i might somewhat face Phoenix than San Antonio. i'm rather much one hundred% specific we are in a position to overcome Phoenix over 7 video games yet San Antonio is often difficult and that they be attentive to a thank you to win in playoff situations.

They have a chance, but overall Dallas has the better team, but that would be the best game of the season

of course....break it down to match ups and it wouild be a very entertaining game....they key match up would be drik and marion. if you can control dirk i think u have a good chance of beating the mavs. then for the mavs they need to stop nash and the pedal to the metal style offence...i would imagine in that series the suns biggest advantge is their quickness....would be hard for dampier to keep with amare during the game
is anyone else out there salivating at the thought of these 2 teams in the finals!!!!!

That's too close to tell...Let's look at matchups
Backcourt: Advantage=====> Suns
Front court: Even
Bench: Advantage======> Mavericks
Coaching: Even
Intangibles: Advantage=====> Mavericks
It would be close, but I would have to go with the Mavericks, but there's the saying "And that's why they play the game"

If they play aggressive defensive and have very hot shooting days. Let Boris Diaw and Kurt Thomas come back. They should have a chance
