Games: Anyone know how to get around the?

Question

time out (60 mins.) games like, Real Arcade, Shockwave. They have to leave something behind that lets them know it's been played before on a PC. I'm guessing there is something in the registry.


Meaning, find the data and remove it and then download and play it again. I don't mean to over ride the 60 minute limit.

And for the record, I Uninstall them and even go to the folder and remove anything left behind.

I have discovered that, if you go to a Search engine and type in the name of the game, you can go to a different website than the original and get it to play again, and, generally, where you stopped from the 'last' edition. Also, I found that, if you leave the game on, but paused, you can play longer than the hour... such as, I've played for a couple of days.

My mother plays those games. In my house we have Deep Freeze, a useful program. Deep Freeze "locks" your computer so when you reset or turn off your computer, all the changes will disapear, leaving your computer the same.
The games my mother plays are installed on the C drive (the frozen drive). When my mother finishes playing she copies the data folder (where the save files are) to the D drive (not rozen).
When she wants to play again, she resets the computer and copies the data from the D to the C, where the game is waiting to be played with its complete 60 minutes.
Get Deep Freeze, I think you can get a free version.

That's where I foud one once, buried waaaaay deep in my computer, but i've probably downloaded 50 of those games, and that's the only one i ever found.
I wonder if you downloaded the game from a different site, you could do it again? like diner dash is avaliable through a ton of different sites.
The only thing that sux about your idea is that you'd have to start over! all your progress would be gone.

I've played games like that, but I don't think you can make the computer think you never played it. Unless........ you go to remove the program and install it again. It might work.
