I try to not judge other people especially based on what they say. But this semester I was in a psychology of women class and the professor seems really biased against men. Sometimes she calls on me or the two other guys in the class to ask questions about the reading and will then belittle us if she thinks we didn't do the reading. I did read the book so I can usually answer her questions but she seems to like humiliating male students in class or trying to make them appear stupider than herself.
This got pretty bad one day when she said that men are more predisposed to violent crimes including rape and that the average man will physically or emotionally rape women at least 5 times in his life. I asked her source on this and she got really mad and asked me if I voted Democrat. I said no and she went on a tirade about 'conservatives like Limbaugh'. I told her that I was not a rapist, not a Republican nor did I vote that way, and not a chauvinist.
I dropped her class the next day.

yes it is, but, Christians are saved by Grace so if you get upset and beat the crap out of some moron God will forgive you when you come back to your senses and repent.
God doesn't like it and you should avoid doing it, but, if it does happen you are forgiven. God knows you are not perfect, God just expects you to try to be the best you that you can be.
Welcome to college. The instructors are psycho. Tell the department head you want to take an incomplete and change to a different instructor next semester or drop the class without credit or just put up with the crap, get a low grade and trash your GPA.
Your choice. Next time you can think out your choices better and try to save the tuition money.

I would have to suggest speaking with someone about her using her classroom as a way of impossing politicals opinions and bring up her mistreatment of male students. Granted I can understand somewhat, because most males that take women's psych do it more for dates than learning, but there is a line. It really is true that men are more predisposed to violent crimes, and especially rape. However, I honestly don't know the statistics on the man's side of rape, only that a woman is raped every six seconds I believe it is.
Maybe this is in left field, or totally out of line but most people that become that angry about something so touchy has a reason. Also, most people that step into psychology as a profession begin that path simply trying to understand their own problems then coming to find it something they are good at. Perhaps she has a past with a violent crime or a person very close to her experienced one. Either way, she isn't helping the students at all by trying to imposs her own veiws instead of teaching from a nuetral standpoint. Any good psych professor should know enough about psychology to keep their personal problems to themselves long enough to teach a class.

Sounds to me like the professor had some hang up regarding men and tried to take it out on male students. I think you had a right to tell her what you did, however you cut off your nose to spite your fact when you dropped the class the next day. This only hurt one person and it wasn't the professor.
