It sounds like your scalp is drying out. Dandruff and dead skin is practically the same thing, so either get a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner or the Head and Shoulders products. My friend used that and within a week, her excess skin on her head was gone. <3

Yeah it's dandruff, dry skin on your scalp. Make sure wheny ou wash your hair you dont apply the shampoo or conditioner directly to your scalp, it could dry it out. Also consider cutting down, you culd be washing your hair too much, and that will dry out your scalp. Cut down to once every couple of days. Also get a good dandruff shampoo like Head and Shouolders or Selsium Blue and use it once a week.

Use a minty shampoo like Paul Mitchell's tea tree shampoo. Leave it in your hair for five minutes before rinsing out. I have the same problem. Washing your hair everyday dries out your scalp. If you can, try to wash it every other day. I also think that brushing your hair from the scalp down a few times a day helps to distribute the oils in your hair.

it could be a mild bout of dandruff. it can happen to anyone!

if not, try not washing your hair everyday.... even a rinse of water would be better, if you have to. shampooing everyday is very drying and stylists never recommend it.

if all else fails, look at your vitamin intake (hehehe I'm serious!) or try a conditioning scalp treatment (pop into one of those retail/drop-in salons in the mall and ask someone)

Your scalp is probably dry. Start washing your hair with dandruff shampoo, like head and shoulders, but dont do it everyday.

do you gel your hair/ use hairspray? it could be you don't or forget to wash it out at night, and it flakes away when you wake up, or if you wash your hair with HOT water it'll dry your skin out faster, and it's winter, the air is very dry outside, so when spring comes around it could return to normal. Use shampoo like every other day, and condition every day with cool to warm water.
