I got my period on January 15th.....had sex on the "appropriate" days for conception (using ovulation kit)......went on vacation to Paris on Feb 8th - 15th came back and got a mild period. (on the 15th)
I have now been doing the ovulation strips and haven't been getting a reading at all (I usually will get faint lines gradually getting darker as it comes close to my ovulation day) this month I have no lines.......Could it be possible that I concieved in January? I haven't done a pregnancy test just yet........ I did have a miscarriage in December and my January 15th was my first "real" period after......Has anyone had a situation where they had a period and then found outh that they were pregnant.......could you please explain the situation....and if it resulted in a pregnancy.
I am not stressed out about getting pregnant.....however we are trying.
I would appreciate a response
Thanks

The only signs of pregnancy that I may have are migraines, dizziness, fatigue, and terrible constipation

Yes, this has happened to me (and several others I've talked to before). From what I understand, because everyone's bodies are different, the tendencies to have periods during the beginning (and maybe even throughout) the pregnancy are not abnormal.
My husband and I conceived in October of 2005, and then I had a miscarriage around the 3rd or 4th week. Like you were explaining, I then had a "normal" period mid-November, so I thought nothing of being pregnant, whatsoever. We found out at the beginning of December that I was pregnant again, and further along than we expected!
We ended up talking to the doctor, and that's when I found out that some women can have normal periods long after they've conceived. It doesn't mean anything is wrong--it's just the way your body works. So in this case, I wouldn't jump to conclusions either way--you very well could be pregnant. Or, your body could be reacting still to the prior miscarriage that you had.
Blessings, and I hope your wishes for a little one come to pass soon! :)

You can bleed or spot a little when you are pregnant too. It is very normal to spot when the placenta is attaching to the uterus.
My best advice would be to take a pregnancy test and talk to your ob/gyn. Best of luck to you!

if you're pregnant, you don't have your period. take a pregnancy test and whatever the result is go see a doctor.
