I travel alot for a living and I have rented Impalas in the past from Enterprise. They seem to be solid cars when I have rented them. Personally, I drive a 2002 Honda Accord. It is the 3rd car and the 3rd Honda Accord I have owned (I've owned a 86 and a 96 Accord previously) I am 41 years old and I have never had a major repair on any of my 3 Accords with the exception of standard maintenance.

It has a 5 star crash rating which is good for your insurance. The 3.8 liter is very peppy and you will get very good mileage from this car as well as roomy. I had a 2000 and really liked it except for the front wheel drive. But if your into waiting there coming out with a rear wheel drive in 2008. Bout time. LOL. Very nice for take off as well as going out for a nice dinner.
