I was just wondering. I have always wanted to get my ears pierced but I thought it would look stupid. However, it doesn't seem to look stupid on any of the other guys I know. What do you all think?

I think they're hot! (depending on what you wear in them). My boyfriend also thought he wouldn't look right with one, but last winter ended up piercing his ear and it looks great. Right now he's up to 14g and he wears the surgical steel captive bead ring. It looks great because this style/metal is more "guy-ish". He's even thinking of getting more piercings :)

I think some guys look really good with earrings and some don't. One of my good friends in high school had both ears pierced and he wore silver hoops.. .very stylish. As such I always wanted to get my ears pierced, but my parents wouldn't allow it.
A couple years after I moved out, I decided that I would see if I like having my ears pierced, but first I bought a pair of spring loaded hoops to see if I liked the look or not. I tried them and I did, so I went ahead and got them pierced. Later on... I decided I'd wear diamond studs and I liked the look of them also. But... since I entered the professional workforce, I don't wear them that often... but still like the look.
So, I would recommend that you get a set of spring loaded earrings to see what you reaction is and the reaction of some close friends and that can help you make a decision before you take the plunge.
Also... if you do decided to get your ears pierced.. it doesn't hurt. The numb your ear and you don't even know it has happened!

Personally, I do find only one ear pierced very sexy, and as long as it's a tiny stud, i.e. small diamond or gold or silver ball. I'll even go as far as a small gold or silver hoop. But definite
turn-offs are:
1. Big, gaudy/flashy earring on one ear.
2. Any kind of earrings on BOTH EARS.
(Reminds me of either a girl or Mr. Clean.)
3. Multiple earrings on either one or both ears.
Having just one small earring on one ear makes a statement that you're "hip/cool/with it". More than that looks like you're trying too hard.

i'm no longer a guy yet I even have 10 piercings in my ear. Lobes x3 Cartilage x2 Helix x1 Tragus x1 i've got not had any problems with fellows + my piercings, as long as you do no longer positioned on those dreadful hoop jewelry and save them sparkling, no-one minds. in the event that they do - tell them to maintain their critiques to themselves!

Don't get multiple holes in one ear, or both for that matter! I saw a kid with those once, and it looked so nasty! One small hoop or fake diamond stud in ONE ear should do the trick. Definitely, if you're a guy, don't over do it! Make it classy and simple.

HOT, HOT, HOT!!! That is totally sexy... I'm all for it! But... the only thing that i DONT like is when guys where gigantic diamonds in their ears... i just don't like that. A simple gold or silver SMALL hoop erring is fine. You can get both ears pierced or one... whatever u prefer... both are totally sexy! If you don't like, though, don't get one... trust me. But... from what i know... most chicks like them. SO, whatever you want... I'm all for it! HAVE FUN!!!

I got my ear pieced at 30,,,choice was that or a tat.with a girls name,,,was my B-day,,she gave me diamond pin ,,,,,,,still got the diamond and shes long gone,,,,,,,and that was 30 yrs ago,,do it,do it,
