No! I enjoy spring much more than summer. Here in Texas most of the time temperatures during spring are just about right. If I could I would make it perpetual spring in Texas, because there is nothing pleasant about scorching temperatures. During the summer of 1980 we endured about 60 straight days of sweltering heat where temperatures during the day never dropped below 100° and rose as high as 117° or 118°. The landscape here in north Texas looked like a literal scene out of T. S. Eliot's "The Wasteland."
