Please help! I have looked on the Internet and have found nothing I can use.

Yes there is always an answer.....how much money do you want to spend to save a reef.......build an enclosure that completly cuts of the reef from outside influences. supply the right conditions inside to support the reef....easy

An engineering solution is not practically possible. But if the area is left alone, i.e.is free from human activities by giving it the status of marine park or something, then the coral reefs can be conserved.

Yes.
Things negatively affecting reefs:

Destructive methods of fishing.
Diving on the reefs.
Global warming.
Silt and pollutants from rivers reaching the oceans.
Litter.

These problems are all caused by or exacerbated by human activity. Remove humans from the Earth, and the reefs will recover. It's possible. Yahoo rules forbid me from discussing how, and anyway, I'm not in favor of this rather drastic solution since I'm a human myself, and so is everyone I know.

A lot of work is being done to assist the growth of coal reef around the world but the only ones you really hear about are the sinking of naval vassals as dive attraction.

Look up USS Orinsky. It was a WW II aircraft carrier recently sunk for that reason.
There was a Discovery Channel documentary called Sinking of an Aircraft Carrier
