Regardless the brand, is getting thick after I use it 3-4 times. I tried to get it thinner using nail polish remover but the colour is not the same afterwards and is no longer as glossy as it used to be.

Keep it in the refrigerator, and try a couple of drops of pure acetone, not nail polish remover but actual acetone, it works wonders with just a TINY bit.

There's nothing you can do to keep it from getting thick, but when it does, add a few drops of nail polish thinner. Don't use polish remover--it's not the same product.

Your probably putting to much nail polish remover try adding just a drop or two Its what I do and it works great ! Then for gloss use a clear coat that will give you a really nice shine !

Don't use nail polish. Use nail laquer. Laquer stays shiny throughout use and won't clump or get thick like polish. It's a bit more expensive but OPI and MAC have great ones.
