Is there a folder where copies of emails are stored on the hard drive? Something happened with my computer and I lost all of the inbox emails.......is there a way to restore them?

1.Have you tried System Restore ?
2. Yes . They are stored under extension *.dbx.
open OE.Tools/Options/Maintenance/
Click store folder to access the folders
C:\Documents and Settings\yourname \Local Settings\Application
3. Open any Dbx folder if still available,
and try to read the mail with
OE.
4 Search for recovery pgms in Google/Yahoo
