I do believe so.

We all tend to take ourselves too seriously. When mistakes are made or foolish actions are taken, we berate ourselves to the point of exhaustion.

Perhaps if we did them with enthusiasm, we'd be more willing to learn from them as well as accept ourselves.

Not usually.
It is good to have common sense and not to purposely go around being foolish.
Someday someone might have to risk their own life to come rescue your foolish butt cuz you were doing foolish things enthusiastically.
