Nope, sorry, not allowed to adopt a baby at 15, 16, 17 or even 18. Wait till you are at least 25 or 30.

It's unlikely that an adoption agency would place a child with a 16-year-old. It's even less likely that they would let anyone adopt a child "for" someone else. My advice is to slow down. Concentrate on your education first (spelling and grammar would be a good place to start) and look into becoming a parent, adoptive or biological, when some time has passed and you have matured.

is your step dad going to support it and watch it while you are in school as well?

By law you must be 18 to adopt and be financially stable plus pass a background check.

Most people who give babies up for adoption do it by meeting the parents who want to adopt and spend time with them during the pregnancy, more then 95% of them are looking for married couples who can not have kids of there own and have a good amount of money so that they know there child will always be well taken care of financially.

Your a 16 year old child, a child deserves an adult and a married couple who can take care of it.

you're making the mistakes of believing adoption is about the youngsters. this is about the a'dad and mom. there'll continually be those who undertake because opt for a baby it truly is as on the fringe of being "their own" as achieveable. Adoption is pushed via the purposes of PAPs and via income, no longer via its unique purpose of searching homes for toddlers who opt for them. people do not opt for to admit adoption has replaced. the days even as many center-type women people and women would properly be shamed out of their toddlers are lengthy lengthy gone, yet even as people imagine of adoption they nevertheless imagine of the chuffed couple with the hot toddler they could improve from as on the fringe of day one as achieveable. it truly is the "desirable" adoption, and that is what a great number of people opt for. The delusion is "a baby i visit call my own, a baby which will call me and easily me Mommy or Daddy." not in any respect ideas that it become not in any respect reality, and that adoptees were those who suffered for that. this style of large volume of people tried so demanding to be what we not in any respect will be. some people are fortunate adequate to get a'dad and mom who did not anticipate us to reinforce up and turn into them. yet some were given dad and mom who anticipated the no longer achieveable. those dad and mom were informed all they had to do become love the youngster and all will be properly, that nurture is all and nature isn't something. It sounds style of loopy now that all of us understand better. a lot of people also believe that the more youthful the youngster is even as followed, the less complications it ought to have. i don't understand no matter if that is real or no longer, yet I do believe that adoptions, even even as there is a great number of affection and understand-how, are very likely to be painful and critical for the adoptee see you later because the "as if born to" style is adhered to.
