all 1946 Wheat Pennies are worth 10 cents
1946 wheat pennies had a mintage of 991,655,00
1946 D (Denver Mint) had a mintage of 315,690,000
1946 S (San Francisco Mint) had a mintage of 198,100,000

In low grades dealers sell them for 2-5 cents each. The minted 991,665,000 of them, so they are far from scarce. The economy started to boom after the war so mintage figures are high on coins from that period.

Yeah, maybe it's worth 5 pennies..

I have around $50 worth laying around all rolled up (in about 100 rolls or so), and I'm not sure what to do with them all..

If you have just one, then I wouldn't worry about it. Maybe you could sell it for $.05 but it's probably not worth the trouble.
