I think that he offered to take her to dinner at the Red Lobster in Little Rock, followed by drinks at the Hilton Hotel bar. After he gets a few cosmos in her, he'll reveal that he paid for a room in the hotel for one night and he'd "reveal his sexuality" to her if she went upstairs with him.
Now that I've come up with this scenario, I think that I've grossed myself out so much that my libido has run away and hidden itself somewhere in the left side of my brain and it probably won't re-emerge for like two weeks. Also, I think I have to vomit. Such are the perils of writing racy political satire.
