Do you think that it is fair for that website to exsist? It's gross! It gave me nightmares......... Why do people want to see pics of people who have had their heads blown off or run over by a train?

Ok from some of your responses yes i did go look some one said they had funny things on there. How long does one have to look at some one with half a head to have night mares(comment goes to the one who said something about that!)

I think it's natural human curiosity. There's another worse than that one. I've been to many, but don't anymore. I saw one...just one, that turned me away from that stuff for good. It was horrid......and about as sad and awful a thing as you could even imagine, and I'm talking about brutality in the most sinister and brutal sense.

Mine was curiosity, and some unknown need to see or be close to it. I can't explain it any better than that, but there really isn't any real GOOD in it. Had I not ever seen that stuff I'd have eventually just forgotten about it and never thought about it again, which I wish now I wold have.

Yeah....I agree with you. People could/should go live their life without that stuff, but that won't ever be the case. It desensitizes us to tragedies and human pain and suffering.

Ya- I've been to it. It's like a train wreck. You just can't look away. Some of the stuff made me nauseous, and I'm an operating room nurse. I'm used to seeing people from the inside out. It isn't so much the graphics that bother me. It's the fact that people can perform such barbaric acts on one another.

my son had a friend tell him to check it out. I saw things that made me angry. How can someone take pictures of someones loved one in an accident, in the operating room, in the morgue etc. and call it entertainment. They are definitely lacking in empathy and are scary people to share the planet with. Many of these pictures were taken illegally. . If this was pictures of your mother, dad, sister, brother, child, boyfriend, girlfriend, bestfriend, etc. you wouldn't want it displayed. I hope everyone does what we have done......refuse to view the site. I wish it could be shut down. Not because of being squemish. I'm just glad no one was there with a camara was there catching pictures of my brothers accident and death, and splattering it on some internet site for gawkers entertainment. At least in movies you know the victem is not a real person whose loved ones are hurting. People who enjoy these sights have not experienced this kind of pain, are immature, and unable to put themselves in anothers shoes.

I've been, there its disgusting, but this is the internet and I think anything someone might want to see should be there for them. There are enough censors out there already. However I think access by kids should should be controlled by parents that is the only kind of censorship the internet should have.

I used to go on there a couple of years ago....it was addictive almost. I started to feel bad, and kind of guilty like I was a part of it somehow. I really feel like a peice of my soul is missing because of all the nasty pictures. Just think, if you were in an accident or worse, murdered would you want people to see your picture, or have your family go online and see you like that? The people who own that site are rich because people suffer. It also made me really afraid of how I am going to die, what kind of nasty accident I could get into....am I going to suffer like these people? I am afraid of pain now. I wish I the sort of innocence I had before looking at thousands of pictures of human suffering.

Different people have different triggers and If you go to their page and click on a link, it's your fault, you asked to see it. Now as to the fact that you don't like what you see in them is not a crime, they claim that pictures aren't any different than what you see in mainstream media, the only difference is that they show you a lot of them at once. Bottom line; its your decision to click the link .

Because some people dont have weak stomachs and it helps you realize what many people in the world have to go through and how brutally they have to die. Plus you looked at it didnt you, long enough to give you nightmares. Just dont look at it anymore.
