well....I guess that that means that I can't mention German songs either, because I'm living in a German speaking country, and am bilingual...
Yuki Wo Tsubasa Ni Shite (I'll turn my courage into wings)
Suerte - Shakira (I always prefered the Spanish version of Whenever Wherever)
and if German songs count, then:
Brutosozialprodukt (brutosocialproduct...I think)
Sag mir wo die Blumen sind (tell me where the flowers are) post-2nd world war song
Skandal im Sperrbezirk (scandal in the redlights-district)
Über Sieben Brücken musst du Gehen (you must go over seven bridges)
99 Luftballons (99 Baloons)
Gib mir noch Zeit (Give me more time) - Blümchen
Immer Wieder (Over and over again) - Laura
Es ist geil ein Arschloch zu sein (It's awesome to be an asshole) - Christian (very funny song)
Schwan (swan) - Gölä (Swiss-German song - beautiful lyrics)
Die Toten Hosen (The Dead Pants) have so many awesome songs, that I don't really know where to start with them ^^'
there's some other Japanese songs, but I don't have a clue what their names are, since their titles are in Hirogana or Kanji on my albums ^^'

i admire the bands Mes Aieux (They sing in French) i admire the band Kaizer's Orchestra (They sing in Norwegian) and that i admire Korpiklaani (They sing in a Finnish dialect) Mes Aieux is like pop/rock/spectacular. Kaizer's is like gypsy rock. Korpiklaani is like heavy steel.
