yesterday, I had a message saying my virtual memory was too low, so I deleted Black & White 2 from my comp, and I am positive That I have enough memory... But I just got the same message saying my virtual memory was too low. Is virtual memory different than RAM? how can I fix it?

The main reason why the message appears is the deficiency of free space on C drive.

no, no, no.....
When your computer runs low on physical memory, thats what your ram is, physical memory, it can use a portion of the disk to write extra memory to, this is called virtual memory.
What you need to do is get more memory, deleting programs wont solve this issue, its running tasks that use the largest portion of memory.....you can increase your virtual memory though.

Right click my computer, and click properties.
Click the "advanced" tab, where you see performance, click "settings". Now click the "change" button under virtual memory.
Select "custom", in the box for "initial size", enter the number 1500, then in the "maximum size", enter the number 2000.
Click "set". Click "ok" to close the box. Now click "apply" then ok to close that window, and now you have up to 2 gig's of virtual memory....

This is still only a temporary fix, your computer will run alot slower when it writes to the disk for virtual memory....check out the link and try to get at least 512 mb extra of ram....
